Orphaned at a young age, Phaes grew up as an urchin in the gutters of Tor Sionis, the epicentre of magical research within Terrenos. For a time she led a stable life within the burrow of Nana Poppyglen, but as she grew into her shapeshifting powers she came to the attention of the criminal elements within the city. To protect her adopted family, she left the burrow, reluctant running with a criminal gang.
