Morthak
Hornbearer of the Ashpeaks
A giantkin woman of advancing years, Morthak served her tribe faithfully as a hornbearer, guiding them through the perils of life atop the Minderhold Spires. Her place within the tribe was lost when a black dragon attacked the winter camp of the Ashpeak Goliaths; many tribespeople were slain, and Morthak was badly injured. Believing her usefulness to the tribe to be at an end, the Lamentor sentenced her to exile, to join the bones of their ancestors at the top of the mountain.
But Morthak could still hear the call of destiny. Knowing that she had a part to play in the events to come as the dragons returned to Terrenos, Morthak defied her tribe, instead choosing to go down the mountain in her exile. Now, the ancient divine weapon Godgorger reforged and the longstanding rift between the giantkin and the wild elves of Pelenspayar beginning to heal, Morthak turns her vision to the world at large, to hunt down those that unleashed the dragons and bring them to heel.
